I was just reading an article which featured a dermatologist.  She mentioned that she doesn’t eat dairy because she believes it adds puffiness to your skin and can cause break outs.  (I have since done other reading

Lately I have been eating more dairy than I usually do – mostly because cereal was the only thing I could stomach for several weeks for a better part of the day.  I am dairy intolerant, so, for the sake of all in my life (in normal circumstances) it’s best I abstain.  However, since “going back on the sauce” I have noticed a difference in my skin’s appearance.

To be fair, being 10 weeks pregnant, it could be hormones (Heaven knows I have THAT going for me right now) but, I still noted the change.  So, if you want to avoid puffy acne-prone skin, you might try to cut down on the dairy.  Reach for coconut or almond milk instead.  Note the difference in your skin AND your digestion.  Give it at least 5 days.  Then, let me know what you think.

As for me, I’m starting on the dairy avoidance already… who needs acne and puffy skin when you’re pregnant?  I mean… really.
