A Very She and Him Christmas

She and Him are a duet known to be well versed in hipster-ness. And this album holds close to that reputation.

The songs are standards with a twist here and there and their sound is one that keeps you in the Holiday spirit.  In addition their voices are unique – something not often heard these days as most people are desperate to sound “just like so-and-so”.

The only thing I can personally say I didn’t care for was the continual “tinny” effect they put to their music (usually attained in production with use of specific microphone or post production to emulate vintage recordings).  However, it wasn’t too much of a distraction and the overall originality of their voices and style won out.

A Very She and Him Christmas is a great down-loadable album to add to your collection and run errands to this Christmas season.  (Look for is on sale on Amazon for a limited time!)
